Child Labour
Stop Child Labour – Let Every Child Dream
Child labour remains one of the gravest issues affecting our nation and the world. It robs children of their innocence, their health, and their future.
A child forced into labour — deprived of education, love, and care — is a child denied their basic human rights. Every child is a precious gift from God, meant to be nurtured with affection, dignity, and the opportunity to grow.
The Reality We Cannot Ignore
Despite laws and regulations that strictly prohibit child labour, the problem persists due to deep-rooted socio-economic inequalities. In many parts of India, children from poor and marginalized families are:
- Forced to work in factories, shops, hotels, fields, or as domestic help
- Denied education, healthcare, and even a childhood
- Trapped in a cycle of poverty and exploitation
Often, these children work not by choice, but because their families lack the means to provide even basic food or education. Without schooling or vocational skills, they grow up to be part of the unskilled, unemployed population, further compounding the nation’s economic and social challenges.
A Way Forward: Educate to Eradicate
At Shirdi Sai Baba School (Sai Dham), we believe that the most powerful weapon against child labour is education.
By providing:
- Completely free and quality education
- Nutritious meals
- Healthcare and emotional support
- Vocational training for older children and youth
We strive to break the cycle of poverty and labour. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate children who are at risk of being pushed into labour by empowering them with knowledge, skills, and hope.
Your Support Can Change Lives
When we educate even one underprivileged child, we don’t just transform a life—we uplift a family and strengthen our nation.
Let us come together to ensure that:
- No child is forced to work.
- Every child has access to books instead of bricks, and pencils instead of ploughs.
The children of today become the doctors, teachers, scientists, artists, and leaders of tomorrow.

” Stop Child Labour. Start Educating. Save a Future.”
